Thank you for your interest in getting married here at Nashville's "Latin Mass Parish", The Church of the Assumption.
Holy Matrimony is a sacrament that expresses the unbreakable bond between Christ and his people.
Requirements:
- You or your fiancé must be baptized Catholics.
- You must be either a resident of the Diocese of Nashville and desire the Latin Mass or reside within parish boundaries. Should you not be a member of either of these groups, various additional policies apply as described in the policy document (see "Latest Wedding Policies" at right).
- Initial interview should be at least six months prior to your desired wedding date. See scheduling considerations and timeline

At the Church of the Assumption, wedding ceremonies are only celebrated on either Friday or Saturday and are scheduled for either 2:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. subject to policy blackout dates and any other days and times that may arise to satisfy liturgical needs or events.
We reserve the right to exercise discretion in the processing of requests, and may choose to decline or accept them based on our internal criteria. Your understanding in this matter is appreciated.
